Once again, I am happy to offer free seeds for anyone interested. Time to look forward to spring after the harsh winter freeze. Some of my landscaping didn't do all that well. Tropical foliage just can't take freezing cold.

First and new to my garden is the Tree Dahlia “Dahlia imperialis”. I have bulbs and stems to offer you for propagation. These plants grow very tall and give your garden a most impressive (towering 10+ feet high!) late fall show. The cold freezing weather took a big toll on her. Fortunately, the bulbs seem ok, but the stems seem questionable for rooting. I planted several stems a couple of months ago and they were rooting well, then the frost killed all but one. I have one large bulb and about 6 stems left. The bulb is a 90% sure thing provided it gets good drainage, etc.Tree Dahlia in full bloom

Here's a photo of last year's monster... More info about tree dahlias at: Daves garden.

Other offerings include:

Heirloom “Granny” mixed zinnias seed
Yellow climbing nasturtiums seed
Red “Indian” roaming nasturtiums seed
Italian heirloom climbing “trombone” squash seed
Armenian cucumber seed
Two tone dwarf marigold seed
Sweet basil seed
Calla Lily bulbs (white)
Jade plant cuttings

In return, I would gladly accept your vegetable and flower plants and seeds, especially tomato seedlings. Others possibilities include eggplant, cucumbers, herbs.
